The Anatomy of a String Quartet is an evening-length multimedia composition for an “extremely amplified” string quartet, where media technologies (aural and visual) play an equal role to the musical material performed by the musicians. In addition, the work will make use of a new technology that tracks the brain waves of live performers and translates them into sound and visuals.
